Lasagna. Chicken Casserole. Cake. Zuchinni Bread.

All the things in the title are meant to bake in the oven.

What’s not meant to bake in a classroom that feels like an oven is this teacher and her 60-already-obnoxious-students.

Seriously, it’s probably criminal how hot it was!  We were all lethargic and useless and sweaty and smelly, and well, gross.

I am jealous of all of you with AC.

  1. If it makes you feel even the teeniest bit better, they still smelled bad even WITH the AC. Real bad.

  2. I can’t imagine life without AC. I live in Houston – the city that exploded in population when AC became available.

We had 2 or 3 days this year w/o AC because we are expanding our brand new school (they built it too small, can you imagine?) and I thought I was going to die. I was sick for a couple of days.

Hang in there. School is almost out, isn’t it?
