Perception

From a story a student handed in the other day:

“He knocked on the door and a very old woman about 34 years old opened the door.”

 Hmmm…

I remember those days. Thinking it was so old — actually the only thing that can be consoling is that at that age you can’t really tell between a 27 year old, a 34 year old and a 42 year old… they are all old to you. As to the use of the word REALLY old, that’s just sad. Can’t they tell REALLY old is like.. 80?

I nearly spit out my water. This a super way to go into break.

  3. Oh my goodness that made me laugh out loud.

  4. The older I get, the more ways kids find to make me feel even older.

    That’s very funny, though.

  5. 15 more years

I give extra credit when kids guess my age as being younger than I really am! (j/k) That is too damn funny.

  6. hilarious!
this makes sense, as the 1980s were the “old-fashioned days”!
