Meme’s The Word!

I know, ridiculous title…but I have indeed been tagged, by 17 (really 15…) over at Have A Gneiss Day, for the most recent meme to be making the rounds, so here it is:

Here are the rules:

1. The rules of the game get posted at the beginning.
2. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
3. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5-6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
4. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.

1) What were you doing 10 years ago?
I was looking for, and ultimately buying my first house (condo really) in the town where I went to college.

2) 5 Things on My To Do List:
Finish the laundry, go to the gym, find a place to get my bike tuned up, enter some grades, make eggplant casserole.

3) Snacks I enjoy- So many things to choose from here, I’ll make categories:

Things that are good for me: Kiwi, mango, almonds

Things that are not so good for me in the quantities I wish to eat them: snickers, ice cream, Doritos!

4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire
Buy houses in Home State, somewhere lovely by a beach, and a big apartment here in NY.  Travel amongst those three houses during the year, depending on the weather.  See parts of the world I haven’t made it to yet.  Of course those are all for me.  There are so many possibilites for charitable donations with my billion dollars, among those donations would be children’s charities and the establishment of some SERIOUS arts enrichment programs for schools that have none.

5) Three of my bad habits
Forgetting to clean out the shower drain…drives the Beau nuts.  Forgetting to pay bills on time.  Procrastinating with all things paperwork and school related.

6) 5 places I’ve lived:

Santa Cruz, California

Rohnert Park, California

Fo Co, Colorado

Florence, Italy

New York, NY

7) 5 jobs I’ve had:
Orange Julius, Pizza delivery girl, telemarketer (for about a minute), office staff at BIOS, bartender (still drives me nuts that I made more doing that then I do teaching…).

8) 6 people I want to know more about:
I could go the route of historically important/significant people, but really, there are just too damn many of them! So instead, I’ll stay a little closer to home…my grandparents (does that count as 4…?) this is not possible since three of them are dead and the last is only technically with us.  My brother – he’s been on the other side of the world so long, and I see him only very rarely.  We were in our early 20’s when he left, so I’m sure he’s changed, and I would like to know him better.  Lastly, you!  Since just about everyone whose blog I read has participated in this, I invite you to tag yourself if you want, or just leave some random information in the comments section!
